What Did You Smoke Today

This morning on my day off I had the Edge by RP. Very nice smoke. I paired it with Sumatra coffee by Caribou Coffee. It was a perfect match. Very nice easy morning.

I really need to get on here more often. In the past week I had my first CAO 65th with was a good smoke but I thought it was going to be more complex. THe other night I had a Comacho Triple Mad. It is a really strong stick that was a touch harsh from time to time. I really enjoyed the strong mad flavor though and think a handful would age well.

The other night for Fathers Day I had a Fonseca Habana Selecion that I got last year for Fathers Day. I think it paired well with the three types of Sams Adams I threw at it. Not the best smoke in the world but good flavor and interesting especially for the price.

i wasnt too impressed with this cigar either. its not bad but i think it was hyped up more than it should have been.

It is the second or third one I have had. I have a few more, since I got them cheap on Cbid I really don't mind them. But after another one or two I will make my final descision.

I had a King B and a Tatuaje West Coast yesterday at the B&M. It was nice to not smoke in the heat and the cigars were excellent.

Currently smoking a Perdomo Squared Cameroon. This thing has some age on it and it is extremely smooth. Wonderful Cameroon spice on the cigar with medium body and flavor. Draw and burn are perfect. No complaints, other than that I don't have any more.

Just had a Vegas Cubanas by Pepin with a few Sam Adams. Nice med bodied smoke. Really happy I got a ten pack on special. Hope to have one soon for a review to realy look at the flavors.

Currently smoking an Opus X Reserva D'Chateau (it's the Churchill size) with a couple fingers of Wild Turkey 101. So much flavor, so little time...

I'm smoking a Perdomo Lot 23 before it gets too hot outside. It's a Churchill and it's a very nice, creamy, mild to medium smoke. I have it paired with an Amstel. I am enjoying this, and not because I could probably be at work right now.

As an aside, while it's nice having my own cigar board the past couple of days, can the rest of y'all post a little???

How ya doing Aubrey. It has been crazy slow lately hasn't it!. Sounds like you are getting alot of smoking in lately!

It never ceases to amaze me that I learn so many great things just by logging-in occasionally and reading various posts. Today, for example, I learned of the existence of Cbid or CigarBid.com. I had no idea a site like that was possible since reading so many comments on various cigar-related items on eBay saying that tobacco sales weren't legal, etc., etc.

I want to thank NJSmokey for that little tid-bit. Your post of June 18th mentioned it and I didn't know what it was so I started looking. I'm glad I did, too, because I can see the possibility of picking up a good buy every now and again. Thanks, NJSmokey.

Have a great day.

Marty

Yesterday I smoked a Victor Sinclair Legacy, Box Press, torpedo with a maduro wrapper. I thought it was very smooth and flavorful and I rated it at 8.5 out of 10.

The one I smoked on a prior day to that one was a Rocky Patel Sun Grown torpedo with a Colorado Maduro wrapper. It was a smooth smoke with good taste and aroma, easy on the tongue, but with a slightly uneven burn in the last few inches. I rated this one slightly higher at 8.5+.

With regard to deciding which cigar I'd like for my all-around choice, my learning curve is going to be considerably slower than most folks since I don't allow myself to smoke a cigar every day. Not that I wouldn't like to. That's just the way it is.

You say that now. Wait until you realize why it's also known as the devil site! :D
