What Did You Smoke Today

I'm smoking a Monte Platinum Robusto and sipping an iced Earl Grey. The cigar is a nice mild/medium flavor. It keeps a nice long ash.

I've got a Monte #2 in the humi that's screaming "Smoke Me, Smoke Me!" :D

I am with you here, this is such a great smoke, I recently picked some up at a significant discount which made me very happy. Had one of them on Friday, and loved it as always...

I had my first Cusano Paired Maduro this evening. It was wonderful! thank you guys for your recommendations, and thank you KELVIN for makin' it happen! 8)

On the way home from work smoked a Cigar.com red label. This was one of the most enjoyable cigars I have had since I started smoking (about a year). Any suggestions on cigars that are similar to the red label.. Thanks

Last night i celebrated my friends birthday and we both enjoyed a zion platinum septer stout these are my favorite

Over the weekend smoked two Perdomo La Tradicion Reserves... One cameroon and one maduro. These cigars had absolutely flawless construction and burn. The cameroon didn't really float my boat in the taste department, but it was still a good cigar. The maduro was right up my alley and I loved every puff. Excellent cigar.

Also smoked a Cuesta Rey Centro Fino natural. Another great example of cigar construction, firm and beautiful. Very mild smoke with virtually no aftertaste. It was a good brunch cigar.

I lit a fire outside, last night. I smoked a Bolivar PC and sipped a bit of Macallan. This has to be one of the best combos!

This was my second Bolivar and I just love 'em. My new favorite cigar.

Ahhh.... I love that combo. The only thing that is as good as the Macallan and PC is the PC with a great rum..... I would have that right now if I wasn't at work!!!

Had an Ashton 898 to celebrate the Lunar New Year (didn't have time yesterday to celebrate).
Wow, what a nice smoke!

had a indian tabac super fuerte maduro earlier and a hoyo de monterrey dark sumatra to watch the presidents address with. :D

Good call Doc, I brought a box of these to a wedding I went to in Spain last summer. I was a little unsure of the quality of Cubans I would find in Spain, so I brought these. What a good idea that was!

I love the Ashton line, and this was a great fit for the group at the wedding...got a ton of compliments for my choice. :D

I had my first Fuente Hemingway tonight. Went with the Cameroon Signature. I have nothing but good things to say about this smoke!

today I smoked:

Puros Indios churchill
5 Vegas A anomoly
A. Fuente Exquisitos Maduro

Then this evening I had my first CAO L Anniversaire Cameroon Robusto. I was worried when I first lit it. I thought it was VERY spicy. Then after about 1/2 inch, it mellowed a bit into a nice, flavorful, medium smoke. The draw was effortless (bordering on, but not quite, too loose IMO) I am not sure that I like the box pressed shape, it just felt odd to me. I have a couple more of these left, so I will reserve judgement on that part of it for a while. Overall, I thought this to be an ejoyable cigar... just my .02

Friend brought a couple CAO Gold coronas to work. Lit them up during our lunch break.

Started out very strong and harsh. Then smoothed out after the first inch. Smooth draw. Little peppery flavor.

first of the day was a 1990 rp sequendo torpedo good smoke great price. now working on a cao brazilla gol my first of these and certainly not the last :D

Bob, those are indeed very good. They age very well too. I had a AF Exquisitos maduro to start. Was very nice as always. Later a Fuente Sun Grown Cuban Belicoso (NC). Had a very tight draw that loosened a little but still made it so it wasn't pleasurable. Also had serious burn issues--would not stay lit. My previous ones were very good so this was a real let down.

I finally got out of my no smoking slump and went to the near by micro brew. Had a couple wheat beers with a Cusano 18 paired maduro, courtesy Kelvin. Awesome cigar, the sweetness of the maduro went well with the wheat beer.

There ya go Cappy, glad the slump is over. I have been in a slump also, havn't had a smoke since last Monday with Kevin!

Cool, glad you liked the smoke and welcome back out of the slump, Capt!

and Scott - we need to plan another get together soon!

Definatley Kevin,
