What Did You Smoke Today

I will say the drink prices are a bit much. I payed 13.50 for a Johnny Walker Black last night....but oh well, that's prices in the big city.
That's what flasks are for.

Yeah, that's a good point Brenda. But I wasn't thinking ahead. I should have known hotel bars are almost always overpriced. Still, it was a relaxing way to spend an hour so no real complaints.

I have this cute little travel mini-bar with a cork screw, tongs, two tumblers and pockets for three shooters.

Mini-bar, cigars, smoking hotel room. . . ahhh.

That was basically my weekend... Smoking room, couple boxes of assorted cigars, a bottle of Sterling Cab. and a bottle of Macallan 18yo...what a way to watch the superbowl!!

After lunch I had an AF 858 Madi and it did not let me down, even though I've tried alot of cigars lately the 858 so far has been the best I've had, although the Partagas Rosado is pretty close.
Simply put the AF 858 madi is a great cigar.

Gurkha Regent....wow what a fantastic stick and its kinda shaped like a carpenters pencil on steroids

it came with my cigar of the month club here at c.com

very flavorfull and now one of my new favorites

I smoked an A. Fuente, Maduro Rothschild... I was a little disappointed, I felt it was a little bland in taste.

Also smoked a Partagas Spanish Rosado San Augustine. This was a great, flavorful cigar and now one of my favorite smokes.

I'm smoking a Cigar.com Blue Label. This is my first Blue and it's a little too mild for me.

A monte 4 is next.

CAO Brazillia Amazon (6x60) along with some port. Now I just have to decide if I should smoke something else after dinner...

Okay, so I couldn't finish my first cigar and now I'm on to the second

A Monte 4. It's a tasty little treat. It's stronger than I thought it would be. I'd say it's a full flavored stick. It's easy to smoke and "nose." It's got a little spice and a finish that is long lasting. And, this little thing gives off tons of smoke. I'm at a coffee shop and I'm sure everyone is loving me about now.

CAO MX2. My first.

I haven't been in love with the CAO line, I hate the Criollos, couldn't smoke the L’Anniversaire Maduro the draw was too tight, and I generally thought they made too many different lines.

I did like this cigar though. It was good, but not the best maduro I have had recently. The Ashton's are much sweeter, and I also got some Oliva's that I am looking forward to.

I found a killer shop here in the Phoenix area, I am on a roadtrip for work, and stopped by a place I'd never been to before. It's gonna be a good smoking weekend...

Brenda, did you get that monte from Chris in the box split? If not, do you know if it is aged or not?

shot some pool last nite with the wife.
Smoked a comacho corojo torpedo...always good.

Ravyn,
How is that one compared to the coyolar perfecto #1? Is it stronger, what is the difference in flavor?

The corojo is a mellower flavor…still full bodied but not nearly as spicy or strong. Kind of a nut or coffee aftertaste. If the perfecto was too strong for you…the corojo will be real nice.

It wasn't too strong, just more than I usually like for strength. I wasn't quite expecting it.

I just had a Perdomo La Tradicion Reserve Champagne Torpedo. It had a silky smooth wrapper. Beautiful construction. What a lovely aroma. It had an even burned. Perfect draw. It had a creamy flavor with hints of vanilla. The flavor was consistant. The ash was long and white with bits of grey. The finish was long lasting. I really enjoyed this smoke (sipped Glenlivet 12 year.)

Ahh! Great night. After I finished shopping for/with my wife, we decided to stop off at the local micro brew and have a few. Since I always have my travel humidor with me, I was not far from lighting up. We ordered drinks, Karen decided on a glass of white wine, and I decided on a glass of Grand Marnier. I had along with me a Graycliff Crystal Presidente. This would be the first I smoked out of the box I just got. This was an awesome cigar. Lots of smoke, great burn, and never turned bitter. This was a complex and spicy cigar, probably from the Grecian tobacco leaf added. About halfway thru, I got a little hungry (my excuse for being light-headed) and ordered up one of Thor's favorites, fries and malt vinegar. The cigar went great with the Grand Marnier, and even though I don't usually eat with a cigar, it was fine with the fries!

Graycliff, Professionale Pirate.

Was a very long lasting cigar, with fantastic flavor.

I paid a good expense for this cigar, however, I enjoyed a great venue, and the taste of the stick was truly fantastic... :D

Have not smoked in 6 days. I am dying here. Thor and I are meeting for some cigars today. I am going to smoke the Graycliff G2. What an absolutely great cigar. Not as steep as the other lines they make and still very good.
