What Did You Smoke Today

Thursdays are usually pretty good for me....crap, anyday is good for me - I will just make up the time later!

I went out last night with some buddies. I gave a friend of mine a Cusano 18. He smoked maybe two inches then gave up (I wanted to punch him. LOL)

I sipped on the champagne of beers, Miller High Life (see what happens when you're broke?)

First, I smoked a Cusano Corojo the band said 1997 *from Bildo, thank you*. This was a great smoke. I really enjoyed the flavor, aroma, nice finish and a long ash. It got really bitter at the 3/4 mark (that's when I stopped.)

Second, I smoked a Monte White Robusto. A smooth, cool, mild and creamy smoke. The wrapper was flawless and so smooth.

Finally, I smoked and Oliva Classic *from BigPaintbrush, thank you*(rated #9 in CA for best cigars.) What a great value. I'm gonna look into getting more of these.

I'm gonna take a break from smoking now, maybe.

today i smoked a cigar i didnt think would turn out too good, BUT! it was actually pretty good. I smoked a "Spirit of Cuba, Habano, Robusto" by Alec Bradley. i picked it up for like $3 at the shop not expecting much, but was suprized.

well, last nite the wife and daughter went out, so I worked out and then sat down in the game room with a giant Gin and tonic. What a great drink! When the wife came home we went out into the garage and both smoked an AF exquisito maduro. It was a tasty cigar. Better than usual. :D

Macallum turned me onto the Camacho Corojo Toro- I was a Padron 3000 junkie.
Today was a rare roast beef sandwich- toasted roll-horseradish- Dark beer- followed by a Camacho Corojo Toro. Heavenly bliss.
The Toro lasted about an hour, and I followed it up with a French Sauterne. Thanks Macallum- you know how to live.

Cigar.com Cuban label, robusto size.
All I can say is, WOW! Very good smoke! Nice down-to-earth flavors, not overpowering the senses. No aftertaste residues. Creamy smoke. I can see this as an economical everyday smoke along with the Cusano 18's.

No wonder Capt likes this!

Thanks CAPT

Came home last night from dinner with the wife....nice Italian meal few glasses of wine and was feeling a lil buz and couldnt wait to get in the house to grab a nice stick and fire it up....as we got to the entrance of my driveway (I live on a acre of land out in the country) we stoped at the electric gate and realized I hadnt checked the mailbox which is out by the road.....opened it up and WOW three packages of you know what :D ...ya you got it "sticks"....what a wonderfull surprize.....one was from cigar.com (monthley club member) one was from a bid I won at cbid and the other was from Capt from a trade we made....I was in heaven with all these new choices

Well I went with Capt's who sent me some awesome smokes (way to go Capt nice stuff you sent that I been wanting to try)....I had told Capt that I leaned towared stronger smokes and I saw this stick in the box called CAO mx2....it was almost black and I said to myself ut oh..... hes trying to kick my a$$....I took it out of the cello and it imediatly had a aroma I never experienced in a stick (this is my first CAO)......I clipped the head and took a prelight draw...wow very very differant for sure...I thought this thing was going to make me dizzy with its streghth........well I was completely wrong because it turned out to be a fine fine med to full very smooth and enjoyable and will definately buy some of these in the future

thanks Capt...nice package for sure (p.s. whats the name of the torpedo you sent I cant read the fancy signature)

A friend of mine brought me back some Cohiibas from Costa Rica about 3 weeks ago. I say Cohiibas because I am still not sure whether they are counterfeit or not. The labels, smell, packaging is all okay, its just that the wrapper is very wonky, not evenly wrapped, or nice looking at all. So, I fired one up last night to shovel some snow, and was very impressed - a very nice smoke. A few burn issues, but other than that, lots of smoke and big flavor. Counterfeit shmounterfiet, who cares, it was a good cigar!

PSD4. Holy moley! What a fantastic smoke. This is my first. It's so smooooth and creamy with a lovely finish. Me likey.

Smoked my freebie Zino tonight, it was a "Chubby." I enjoyed it quite a bit. Was much better than the Petit Corona Zino I smoked a few weeks ago...

I just happened to buy a few too last week. I wish they were more affordable, because I would enjoy these frequently.

couldnt get to the forum yesterday, but yesterday i smoked a trilogy, authintic corojo. wasnt a big fan of it.....the aroma wasnt the best and the had a hard draw.

Called in sick today for work. Sooo... wife has me doing some chores.

Had a Cusano 18 double Connecticut toro while doing laundry. What a nice way to start my day! YUM!

Yesterday on my ride home from work, La Unica Belicoso #2 from Ravyn. Smooth as a baby's but. Really easy going mild cigar. Smoked great and tasted nice. It went great with a cup of french vanilla coffee from Dunkin donuts. I got as far as the band, took it off to smoke it further, but it started to unraval.
Thanks again Ravyn.

Yesterday was at the Hyatt in downtown Chicago and had my first Cigar.com Cuban label. It was the corona and it was an awesome cigar. I had the Cameroon label Churchill on the drive up to Chicago the day before and it was also excellent. But I have to give the slight edge to the Cuban at this point. It really did remind of the real thing...just the right peppery spice. Of course, the Cuban got a slight advantage because it was paired with the scotch...so maybe we should call it a tie. :D

Not quite sure why these are so cheap, but I'm not complaining. I'll be ordering a box or two soon.

I have to agree with you on that, nacht. I just got a box of Cuban Labels last week myself, and had one of them this morning with my coffee (a great Tanzania Peaberry) I love these things, and no better price arround!

We have a Hyatt here in Kansas City. I didn't realize it was a national name, guess I have lived a somewhat sheltered life...lol. Our Hyatt Regency Hotel has a great round restaurant on the top that slowly revolves to give a view of the entire city...Though I have not eaten there myself, I hear it is quite good. Is the Hyatt in Chicago the same?

I've been to the KC Hyatt a couple of time. I spent the bulk of my life traveling (at least for the last 5 years). The KC Hyatt is nice and I like the restaurant. The Regency in downtown Chicago is nice too. It has a bar called the Big Bar which they claim is the largest in the US (at 160 feet long). It's a nice, ciagr friendly, environment. I will say the drink prices are a bit much. I payed 13.50 for a Johnny Walker Black last night....but oh well, that's prices in the big city.
